Open Customers in the menu. The All customers tab is your customer list, built from sales, guest lists and the lists you import. The other tabs are Segments, Members and Membership types.

You need See customer details to open it, and Edit or erase customer details to add, import or change customers.

The list

Each customer shows:

  • Customer: name, email and phone. Can be emailed means they agreed to hear from you, so your campaigns can reach them.
  • Badges, worked out from their history, with nothing for you to keep up to date:
    • Member: holds a membership that is running now.
    • Regular: 5 or more visits.
    • Big spender: in your top 10% by spend. Only once at least 20 customers have spent, so your first buyer is not crowned.
    • Lapsed: has come before, but not in the last 90 days.
  • Tags: your own labels.
  • Orders and Spent, all time.
  • Last purchase.

Click a customer to open their profile. See Customer profile.

The list shows 50 at a time; use Previous and Next to move through it.

Search and filter

Type a name, email or phone in Search. Press Filters for more:

  • Tag: customers with one of your tags, or Any.
  • Event: customers who booked a given event, or Any event. Tick Only those who came for those who came through the door.
  • Marketing: Anyone, Can be emailed or Do not email.
  • Spent at least: an amount.
  • Last purchase from and To: dates.
  • Show erased: includes customers whose details were removed at their request.

Clear removes them all. To keep a set of filters and reuse it, save it as a segment. Opening a segment shows its customers here, with how many can be emailed, and Show all customers goes back.

Add a customer

Press Add customer:

  • Email (required). If the email is already a customer, what is missing is filled in. Nobody is added twice.
  • Name and Phone.
  • Language: for the emails they get. Automatic uses the language they last bought in.
  • Tags, separated with commas.
  • They agreed to receive news and offers from your venue, and you can show how they agreed: tick this only if you have proof, such as a signed sign-up sheet. Leave it unticked if not: they can still say yes themselves when they next buy.

If they unsubscribed before, they are added but stay off your email list.

To add many at once, use Import customers in More actions. See Import customers.

Export

Export CSV downloads the customers you are looking at, with your filters, as a spreadsheet: name, email, phone, tags, whether they can be emailed and since when, orders, spend, refunds, events booked and attended, and their first and last purchase.
