The Tickets tab lists what customers can buy for this event. You need Create and edit ticket types to change anything here.

The list

Each ticket shows:

  • Ticket: its name and kind, how many people it admits if more than one, its own sales window if it has one, and Not for promoters if promoters cannot sell it.
  • Price.
  • Sold: how many have been sold.
  • Left: how many can still be sold, or ∞ for no limit.
  • Status: Available, Sold out or Off sale.

Add a ticket

There are two ways.

Add from ticket types

The quickest way, if you have set up your venue's ticket types. Press Add from ticket types:

  • Ticket type (required): pick one. Its name and price are shown.
  • Inventory for this event: how many can be sold. Leave it blank for no limit.

Press Add with the ticket's name. The event gets its own copy of the ticket, so later changes to the ticket type do not change this event unless you apply them. See Apply to future events.

Add ticket

To make a ticket just for this event, press Add ticket:

  • Name (required). For example "General admission".
  • Type (required): General admission, Ticket release, VIP entry, Fast track, Guest list, Complimentary, Table reservation or Other. It describes the ticket in your lists and reports.
  • Price (required), in your venue's currency.
  • Inventory: how many can be sold. Tick No limit on how many can be sold for no limit.
  • Admits (required): people per ticket. A pair ticket admits 2. Capacity counts people, so a pair ticket uses two places.

Press Add ticket.

Change a ticket

Use the menu (the three dots) at the end of its row:

  • Edit changes this event's copy of the ticket:

    • Name and Description, in each of your languages.
    • Price. A new price is for future buyers: orders already placed keep the price they paid. Needs Change ticket prices. Once you price a ticket here, Apply to future events leaves this event alone.
    • Max per order: the most one customer can buy at once. Blank for no limit.
    • Its own sales window: Sales start and Sales end, for a release such as an Early bird that stops selling a week before. Leave both empty to follow the event's sales window.

What the ticket admits and its kind cannot be changed once it is on the event.

  • Take off sale stops selling it straight away. Tickets already sold stay valid. Put on sale sells it again.

  • Change quantity sets how many can be sold for this event. It cannot go below what is already sold or held. Leave it blank for no limit.

  • Hide from promoters keeps it off your promoters' links and portal, while customers can still buy it from you. Offer to promoters gives it back to them. To keep promoters off the whole event, see Event settings.

  • Delete removes it completely. Only shown while nothing has been sold or held. Once something has sold, take it off sale instead.

To change a price on many events at once, edit the ticket type and use Apply to future events.
