The Tables tab is where you choose which of your tables are on sale for this event, and what they cost. Nothing here changes your venue's floor plan: each event keeps its own choices.

If your venue has no floor plan yet, the tab says so, with Go to floor plan.

You need Edit the floor plan and table prices to change what is on sale, and Take a table out of service to hold tables.

Put tables on sale

Each of your floor plans has its own card, with its tables listed by area and a line saying how many are on sale, such as "8 of 12 tables on sale". The event sells on whichever plans have tables on sale, and customers see each of those plans. For each table:

  • Tick the box to sell it at this event. Untick it and the table is Not used by this event.
  • Guests: how many people it takes. If extra guests are allowed, it shows how many and at what price.
  • Pricing model:
    • Minimum spend: the guest prepays this amount and can spend it at the venue. Unused balance is not refunded.
    • Table price: the guest pays this for the table itself, with no spend credit. It may include products.
  • Amount: the minimum spend or table price for this event. It is required for a table on sale.
  • State: whether it is free, booked (and for whom), held, or reserved for a customer on a payment link.

Put all on sale and Take all off sale do every table on that plan at once.

When a table is on sale, customers book it from the event page, picking it on the plan.

Hold a table

A hold keeps a table for someone, or out of use, for this event. Customers see it as taken. From the table's menu (the three dots), choose Hold:

  • For: the customer's name.
  • Until: leave it blank to hold it until someone releases it, or set a time and it frees itself.
  • Note: for staff only, such as "Birthday, paying on arrival".

Press Hold table. Your name goes on the hold, so colleagues know who to ask. Anyone who can hold tables can Release it.

A hold takes no money. To take payment, use Sell, which opens New sale with the table chosen. A payment link holds the table for the customer on its own while they pay.

What comes with a table

On a table sold at a Table price, the menu's Includes sets what comes with the table at this event, such as bottles. It is not offered on a minimum-spend table, because it would be unclear whether the bottle comes out of the minimum or on top of it. For each row:

  • Brand, for example Grey Goose.
  • Product, for example Vodka 70cl.
  • Qty: how many.
  • Choice: A to D. Give two or more rows the same letter to make them a choice the customer picks between, for example a vodka or a gin. A letter on only one row is not a choice: add another, or clear the letter to make it always included.

There are no prices here: an included bottle is part of the table, not a sale. Add item adds a row; press Save when done.

Extra guests

From the table's menu, Extra guests allows places beyond the table's maximum for this event, each paid in full online. Extra guests never count toward the minimum spend.

  • As the table uses the floor plan's setting for this table, which the window shows.
  • None at this event allows no extra guests.
  • Different for this event: set how many (1 to 50) and the Price each.

Promoters

From the table's menu, Hide from promoters keeps the table off your promoters' links, while customers can still book it from you. It then shows Not for promoters. Offer to promoters gives it back.
