Terms of Service
Last updated 1 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between Floorful and the venue or business that uses it. They cover what we provide, what it costs, how payments work, and who is responsible for what. Please read them before you create a venue.
1. Who we are and who these terms are with
Floorful is provided by Floorful.app, registered in Spain ("Floorful", "we", "us").
- Provider: Floorful.app
- VAT number: ESY2280802K
- Address: Carrer dels German Cabot Franciscans 35-1, 07110 Bunyola, Mallorca, Spain
- Email: floorful@megabite.io
These are the details Spanish law (Ley 34/2002, de servicios de la sociedad de la información y de comercio electrónico) requires the provider of an online service to publish.
These terms are with the business that creates a venue on Floorful ("the venue", "you"). The person who accepts them confirms that they are authorised to do so on the business's behalf. If you run several venues, these terms apply to each one. Floorful is a service for businesses: you use it in the course of your business, not as a consumer.
These terms include the Data Processing Addendum, which covers the personal data of your customers that we handle for you, and our Privacy Policy, which covers the personal data we handle for ourselves.
2. The service
Floorful is software for running events at a venue. It includes:
- event pages and online checkout for tickets, VIP tables and memberships, on our address or your own domain;
- a back office for events, orders, customers, reports, guest lists, promoters and staff permissions;
- a door app that admits tickets, table guests, guest list names and members, and keeps working without a connection;
- confirmation emails and wallet passes for your customers.
We improve Floorful continually and may change, add or remove features. We will not remove a feature you rely on without reasonable notice, unless we must for security or legal reasons.
3. Accounts and your team
You are responsible for everyone you invite to your venue and for what they do with the access you give them. Choose roles carefully: owners and managers can change prices, issue refunds and see customer details.
Keep sign-in details secure and do not share personal logins. Door devices may use a shared device account, which you should restrict to the door role. Tell us at once at floorful@megabite.io if you believe an account has been compromised. We may lock an account we believe is compromised to protect you and your customers.
4. Free trial, subscription and fees
Each venue starts with a 30-day free trial from the day it is created. You are asked to add a card at the start so the service does not stop mid-season; nothing is charged for the subscription during the trial.
After the trial the subscription is €99 per venue per month, plus IVA (VAT) or other applicable tax, billed monthly in advance through Stripe. You can see invoices, change your card or cancel from the billing page in your venue settings.
Booking fees are separate from the subscription and apply from the first sale, including during the trial:
- tickets: 1% of the ticket price or €1, whichever is higher, per ticket;
- VIP tables: 1% of the table's committed value (its price or minimum spend) or €5, whichever is higher, per booking, charged once when it is booked, including when only a deposit is paid online;
- no Floorful fee on complimentary tickets or on payments you take yourself at the venue (cash or your own card terminal).
These are the standard rates. Where we agree a different rate with you in writing, that rate applies for the period agreed, and the standard rates apply again when it ends.
Booking fees are shown to and paid by your customer at checkout, on top of the price you set, and are collected automatically from each payment. Amounts are in your venue's currency. You may add your own booking fee, which is yours.
Floorful's booking fee is not returned when you refund a customer or cancel an event, because the booking service was provided. It is returned where a charge was taken in error or Floorful failed to provide its own service.
We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any change to the subscription price or booking fees. If a subscription payment fails or the trial ends without a card, your published events keep selling and admitting guests, but back office features such as creating events and box office sales pause until the subscription is active again.
5. Payments go to you
You connect your own Stripe account, and you are the seller of your tickets, tables and memberships. Your customers pay you directly: each payment is made to your Stripe account and Floorful's booking fee is deducted from it at the same moment. Floorful never holds your money, and Stripe pays you out on your own Stripe payout schedule.
Your use of Stripe is also governed by Stripe's own agreements, which you accept when you connect. Stripe's processing fees are yours.
Refunds, chargebacks and payment disputes are between you and your customer. You answer disputes from your Stripe dashboard; Floorful keeps the order records that support you.
6. Your events and your customers
Your customers buy from you, not from Floorful. You are responsible for your events and for everything you publish, including:
- accurate event details, prices, capacities and table descriptions;
- licences, permits, age checks, safety and admission at your venue;
- your booking terms and refund policy, which customers see before they pay (Floorful records which version each customer accepted);
- refunding customers when you cancel or change an event, as your terms and the law require;
- complying with consumer protection and other laws that apply to your events.
Floorful provides the tools to do these things, such as refunds, cancellation notices and capacity limits, but the decisions are yours.
7. Promoters
You may invite promoters and promoter teams to sell for you. They act for you, not for Floorful. Floorful calculates the commission you set up as a tool for you; any agreement to pay a promoter is between you and them, and Floorful does not pay promoters. Promoters can see the customers who bought through their own links, and no one else's.
8. Your data and your customers' data
Your content and your customer records belong to you. For your customers' personal data you are the controller and Floorful is your processor, as set out in the Data Processing Addendum, which forms part of these terms.
We do not sell your customers' data, and we do not market to your customers. We use data only to provide and secure the service, and may use aggregated information that does not identify anyone to understand and improve it.
You can export your orders, customers and reports at any time.
If you send marketing to your customers, you must only contact those who agreed to it. Floorful records each customer's choice at checkout for you.
9. Emails from your own address
Customer emails come from Floorful's sending address with your venue's name, and replies go to you. On request, and at our discretion, we can switch your venue to send from an address at your own domain. You must own the domain and keep its DNS records in place; if they stop working, emails go from Floorful's address instead so your customers still receive them.
10. Acceptable use
You must not use Floorful to:
- sell tickets for events that are unlawful, that you are not entitled to sell, or that you do not intend to hold;
- commit fraud, launder money, or mislead customers;
- send messages to people who have not agreed to receive them;
- copy, resell or reverse engineer the service, or access it by automated means other than those we provide;
- test or probe the security of the service without our written permission.
We may remove content or suspend a venue that breaks these rules, and will tell you why unless the law or an investigation prevents it.
11. Availability and support
We work to keep Floorful available at all times and design it so that the door keeps working even when the connection does not. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and we may need planned maintenance, which we will try to schedule away from event nights. No service level applies unless we have agreed one with you in writing.
Support is by email at floorful@megabite.io. We aim to reply within one working day, and sooner on event nights when something is stopping sales or the door.
12. Intellectual property
Floorful, its software and its design belong to us. You keep all rights in your content, such as your logos, posters and event descriptions, and give us permission to use it to provide the service to you, for example to show it on your event pages and emails. If you send us suggestions, we may use them freely.
13. Ending the agreement
You can cancel your subscription from the billing page at any time; it ends at the end of the period already paid. You can close a venue at any time, which stops all sales. A venue cannot be closed while customers of a cancelled event are still owed refunds.
We may suspend or end your use of Floorful if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if the subscription is unpaid after notice, or if we must for legal or security reasons. Where we can, we will give you notice and a chance to put things right first, and we will not strand customers who already hold tickets for your upcoming events without warning.
When a venue closes, records of paid transactions are kept, because accounting and tax law require it and because they are the record of your customers' purchases. A customer's personal details can be anonymised on request at any time. A venue that never took an order is deleted 30 days after it is closed. Export anything you need before you close.
14. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that the law does not allow to be limited or excluded, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct (dolo) or gross negligence, and for death or personal injury.
Subject to that, neither party is liable to the other for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss, however it arises.
Subject to the same, Floorful's total liability to you in any 12-month period, for all claims arising from these terms or the service, is limited to the greater of (a) the subscription fees you paid Floorful in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, and (b) €1,000. Booking fees, which your customers pay, are not counted.
You are responsible for claims made by your customers about your events, and agree to cover Floorful's reasonable costs arising from such claims, except to the extent they were caused by Floorful.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For a change that matters, we will tell you by email or in the dashboard at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel before then. The version you accepted, and when, is recorded against your account.
16. General
These terms are governed by Spanish law, and the courts of Palma de Mallorca have jurisdiction, without affecting any rights you have under the laws of your own country that cannot be excluded. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. You may not transfer these terms without our agreement; we may transfer them to a company that takes over the service, and will tell you if we do. These terms, with the documents they refer to, are the whole agreement between us about Floorful. Where a translation differs, the English version applies.
