Go to Settings, then Team. It lists everyone who can sign in to this venue's back office or door app, with their Name, Role and Status. Use Find someone to search by name or email.

Promoters are not on this list. They have their own Agents screen and use the promoter portal.

The four roles

Each person has one role at each venue:

  • Owner. Full access, including billing, Stripe and closing the venue. Cannot be restricted.
  • Manager. Runs the venue. Everything except billing and closing the venue.
  • Supervisor. Runs a shift. Sells, checks guests in and sees the night's numbers.
  • Staff. Works the door. Scans tickets, admits guests and takes entry money.

What each role can do is a starting point. The owner can change it on Roles.

Invite someone

Press Invite someone and fill in:

  • Name (required).
  • Email (required). The invitation only works for this address.
  • Role (required). The line under it says what the role can do. Only an owner can invite another owner.

Press Create invitation. Floorful emails them a link, which works once and expires in 7 days. If the email could not be sent, the window shows the link instead: copy it and send it to them yourself. The link is shown once, so copy it before you close the window.

Until they accept, they show as Invited, with Revoke invitation. Revoking stops the link working and takes them off the list, so you can invite them again straight away with a new link: for example if the link was lost or has expired. When they open the link they sign in, or create an account, with that email, and join your venue. See Join a venue you were invited to.

Door devices

The door app signs in with a team member's account. For a phone or tablet that stays at the door, invite an account for the device itself, such as door1@yourvenue.com, with the Staff role. See Door app.

Change someone's role

Pick a new role from the menu in their row. It applies straight away.

  • You cannot change your own role.
  • Only an owner can change an owner's role, or make someone an owner.
  • You need the Change someone's role permission.

Remove or restore access

Remove access signs them out of this venue, and they cannot sign back in. Their history stays on record. They then show as No access.

Restore access lets them back in with the same role.

You cannot remove yourself, and only an owner can remove an owner. You need the Remove someone from the team permission.
