Open Events in the menu. The All events tab lists every event at your venue: what is coming up first, then the past. The Series tab is for nights that repeat, such as every Friday. See Series.
The list
Choose Upcoming or Past at the top. Past holds finished and cancelled events.
Each row shows:
- Event: its name, and Unlisted if it is hidden from your public list.
- When: its date and time.
- Status: one of Draft, Published, On sale, Sales paused, Sold out, Sales closed, Live now, Finished, Cancelled or Archived.
- Tickets, Tables and Guest list: how many have sold, or are on the list, out of what is available.
- View, on a published event, opens its public page in a new tab.
- Sell, on a published event that has not ended, opens New sale for it.
Click an event to open it. See The event page.
Filters
Press Filters to narrow the list:
- Find an event: type part of its name and press Enter.
- Status: one of the statuses above, or All.
- From and To: dates.
Clear removes them all. The filters are part of the page's address, so you can bookmark or share a filtered list.
Create an event
Press Create event. You need the Create events permission.
- Event name (required). For example "Saturday Night".
- Web address (required). The end of the event's public link, after your venue's address. It fills in from the name; you can change it. Each event at your venue needs its own.
- Starts and Ends (required). A night that runs past midnight ends on the next day. Times are in your venue's timezone.
- Music. Up to 5 genres, used to find the customers who like this kind of night.
Press Create event. The event opens, as a Draft: nobody can see it yet. It starts with your venue's default capacity, minimum age and entry rules.
Then:
- Add tickets on the Tickets tab, and tables on the Tables tab.
- Add a description, poster and sales window on Settings.
- Press Publish event at the top of the event. It goes on your storefront, and on sale when its sales window opens.
To make a copy of an event you already have, open it and use Duplicate. See The event page.
For a night that repeats, press New series instead. See Series.
Change several events at once
Tick the box beside each event, or the box at the top to select them all. A bar shows how many are selected and what you can do with them:
- Publish. Needs Publish, pause and postpone events.
- Move to draft. Takes published events off your storefront. Only for events that have not sold anything yet.
- Cancel. Needs Cancel an event and refund everyone. You give one Reason for them all, and choose how refunds are made, as when cancelling one event. See Cancel event.
- Delete drafts. Only drafts that have never had an order can be deleted. Anything else you selected is left as it is.
- Clear unticks everything.
Before anything happens, a window sums up what you selected: how many events, drafts and published ones, how many paid orders, and how much money would be refunded. Each event is then done on its own. If one cannot be, the others still are, and the window lists the ones that failed and why.
