If you run a nightclub or lounge that sells VIP tables, you may have looked at TablelistPro. It has been around since 2013, it is built around table service, and it is based in New York.

The question most venues ask is a simple one: what will it cost once tables are included? This page sets out how Floorful compares, as fairly as we can. Where TablelistPro is the stronger choice, we say so.

The short version

Floorful includes VIP tables, floor plans, tickets and guest lists in one price: $99 a month per venue (£99, €99, CA$149 or A$149). Our fees are published, there is a 30-day free trial, and every payment goes straight into your own Stripe account the moment the customer pays.

TablelistPro starts at $99 a month for tickets only. VIP tables and the floor plan builder are on its Standard plan at $299 a month, and POS integration and live customer chat on Deluxe at $499.

What tables cost you each year

For a venue that sells tables, this is the difference that adds up:

  • TablelistPro Standard: $299 a month, $3,588 a year;
  • Floorful: $99 a month, $1,188 a year, after a 30-day free trial.

That is $2,400 a year before a single table is sold. And with Floorful, tables are not an upgrade: every venue gets the floor plan, table packages, minimum spends, deposits and balances from day one.

Fees you can see

TablelistPro's pricing page lists its monthly plans, but not what it charges per ticket or per table, or who pays it. For that, you book a demo.

Floorful's fees are on our website and the same for every venue:

  • $1 or 1% per ticket, whichever is higher;
  • $5 or 1% per table booking, whichever is higher;
  • both paid by the guest at checkout, so they are not taken from your ticket or table revenue;
  • you can add your own booking fee on top, and it goes to your venue.

Card processing is Stripe's standard fee, paid by the venue on its own Stripe account. There is no other percentage, and no volume tiers.

Whatever platform you choose, ask for the full cost on a real night: the monthly plan, the fee per ticket and per table, card processing, and who pays each one.

The money is yours when the customer pays

Every Floorful payment goes directly into your venue's own connected Stripe account the moment the order is paid. Floorful never holds your money, and you do not wait until after the event. Stripe then pays out to your bank on your own account's schedule.

Refunds, disputes and payouts all sit in your own Stripe account, and the account stays yours if you ever leave.

Built by an operator

Floorful was founded by Thomas Barrie after eight years in technology at Social Club and House of Son Amar in Mallorca, working on ticketing, VIP tables, the door, point of sale and marketing on real nights.

That shows in how tables work:

  • deposits and balances are clear to the guest and to your team, so nobody arrives thinking a deposit was the full price;
  • minimum spend and table price are set out separately, because every club does them differently;
  • party sizes are part of the booking, so the door knows who is expected when a group grows;
  • balances can be collected at the door and recorded against the booking.

Where TablelistPro is the better fit

TablelistPro may suit you better if:

  • you need your POS connected today, through its Omnivore integration on the Deluxe plan;
  • you want live chat with customers built in;
  • you want a platform with over a decade in US nightlife behind it.

Where Floorful is the better fit

Floorful is likely to suit you better if:

  • you sell VIP tables and do not want to pay $299 a month for them;
  • you want to see every fee before you sign up;
  • you want to try it with your own events, on a free trial;
  • you want every payment in your own Stripe account the moment the customer pays;
  • you sell in pounds, euros or another currency, or run venues in more than one country.

Founding venues

We are currently taking on a small number of founding venues. They pay no subscription for their first 12 months, only the booking fees guests pay, and get hands-on help from setup to their first nights. You can read about it in our launch announcement.
