If you run a nightclub or beach club in Spain, you have almost certainly come across Fourvenues. It is one of the best-known nightlife platforms in the country, used by some of its biggest clubs, and it does a lot.
So why look at anything else? Usually for one of three reasons: you want to know what it will cost before you talk to anyone, you want to try a platform with your own events before you commit, or you want something smaller and more direct to work with.
This page sets out how Floorful compares. We have tried to be fair about it. Where Fourvenues is the stronger choice, we say so.
The short version
Floorful is a simpler alternative with published prices and a free trial you start yourself. Every payment goes straight into your own Stripe account the moment the customer pays. It was built by someone who spent years running technology inside nightclubs, not by a software company looking for a market.
Fourvenues is a larger, established platform with a wider range of features and a sales team that sets up a plan for each venue.

Pricing you can see before you call anyone
Fourvenues does not publish its prices. Each venue agrees a plan with their sales team, which can work well for large groups that want something tailored.
Floorful's pricing is on our website, and it is the same for every venue:
- €99 a month per venue after a 30-day free trial, plus IVA;
- a booking fee paid by the guest at checkout: €1 or 1% per ticket, and €5 or 1% per table booking, whichever is higher;
- no percentage of your ticket or table revenue, and no volume tiers.
You can add your own booking fee on top, and many venues do. On a busy season it can cover the subscription several times over. There is a calculator on our pricing section to work it out with your own numbers.
Try it before you commit
With Floorful you can sign up, set up your venue, build a floor plan and put an event on sale without speaking to anyone. If you would like help, you will get it from the person who built it. But you do not have to sit through a demo to find out whether it suits you.
For a venue choosing a platform for a whole season, being able to test it with a real event first takes a lot of the risk out of the decision.
The money is yours when the customer pays
Every Floorful payment goes directly into your venue's own connected Stripe account at the moment the order is paid. Floorful never holds your money, and you do not wait until after the event to receive it. Stripe then pays out to your bank on your own account's payout schedule.
It also means refunds, disputes and payouts are all visible in your own Stripe account, and the account stays yours if you ever leave.
Whatever platform you choose, ask where your money sits between the sale and the payout, and when you get it. It makes a big difference to cash flow in a busy season.
Built by an operator
Floorful was founded by Thomas Barrie after eight years in technology at Social Club and House of Son Amar in Mallorca, working on ticketing, VIP tables, the door, point of sale and marketing on real nights.
That shapes the details:
- table deposits and balances are clear to the guest and to your team, so nobody arrives thinking a deposit was the full price;
- minimum spend and table price are set out separately, because every club does them differently;
- party sizes are part of the booking, so the door knows who is expected when a group grows;
- promoters each get their own link and see their own sales, without access to anything else.

Where Fourvenues is the better fit
We would rather you choose the right platform than the wrong one. Fourvenues may suit you better if:
- you run a large group of venues and want a plan tailored to you by a sales team;
- you need sales linked to card terminals at the bar today;
- you want a platform with years of track record and venues in more than one country.
Where Floorful is the better fit
Floorful is likely to suit you if:
- you want to know exactly what it costs, up front;
- you want to try it with your own events before committing;
- you want every payment in your own Stripe account the moment the customer pays;
- you would like to work directly with someone who has run the same nights you do.
Founding venues
We are currently taking on a small number of founding venues. They pay no subscription for their first 12 months, only the booking fees guests pay, and get hands-on help from setup to their first nights. You can read about it in our launch announcement.
